Chad Roucroft,
Tom Gehring
Junior Mixers
Our resident junior engineers, Chad Roucroft and Tom Gehring represent the next generation of HSR's audio-engineering talent and have garnered a reputation as the "go-to" guys for our staff engineers. Chad and Tom do everything from setting up and conducting their own sessions to taking the heat from stressed-out engineers.
With 12 years of audio post-production knowledge between them, Chad and Tom have gained a wide range of experience and worked closely with such esteemed clients as McCann Erickson, Euro RSCG, MRM Worldwide, Driver Media, P3 Entertainment and Dreamworks, among others. With Studio 9 as their lab, they've also been able to branch out from TV and radio and experiment with various long-format projects. They teamed up as sound mixers for the award-winning 2007 documentary Dr. Bronner's Magic Soapbox as well as for a high-profile 2008 documentary about AIDS in Africa charity Keep a Child Alive, produced by Alicia Keys. Tom and Chad are currently mixing the series Hidden Potential for Leopard Films.
Originally from the hard suburbs of Philly, but currently living in West New York, New Jersey Chad spends his off time caring deeply (too deeply?) for the Phillies and the Eagles as well as carefully managing his fantasy sports teams. Tom spends his off hours engineering and producing Midnight Rockers Express, a podcast featuring new and underground bands along side classic music. Originally from the Jersey Shore, Tom currently lives in the apartment above Chad and they watch Lost together on Wednesday nights.
