Marty Newman joined the hsr family in 1982 as a Technical Engineer immediately after graduation from SUNY (Fredonia, NY) where he completed the four year Tonemeister Program and earned his degree in Sound Recording Technology. In 1985 he was promoted to Assistant Chief Engineer and, in 1987, promoted again to his current position of Chief Engineer. Originally from Rochester , New York, Marty makes his home these days in Stamford, Connecticut.
